“Clubs for Young People( Lothian)” is a new Federation being launched by Clubs for Young People (Scotland).

Andy Enwood has been employed as the part time Development Officer. He will be contacting clubs in the area regarding membership and generating activities for the new and existing membership.

Football trials for the Scotland teams will be the first activity available and the Lothian trials will be held in late September/early October.

Age groups will cover 14s 16s and 18s. Games will this season be played in Wales at each of the age groups next May and the 16s will also play in a Five Nation tournament in July.

The affiliation fee is only £20.

Other sports will be introduced and on offer for golfers is a competition from which the winners of each Federation play against each other at “Muirfield “   with lunch in the clubhouse.
